Message from Sisterhood

Shalom, Sisters...

Temple Israel's Sisterhood is a diverse group of ladies. We come from many different places and backgrounds. The purpose of our sisterhood is to create a supportive community, providing opportunities for building friendships, and developing leadership skills.

We nurture, sustain, and support this community through social activities that enable us to perform  Tikkin olam, and expand the spiritual and intellectual growth of our members.

Our goals are to establish a community of women that inclusive, nonjudgmental, and supportive. We strive to engage in social activities, fundraising, and the beautification of our Shul. Also, we plans to participate in DeLand's diverse religious and social activities.

We hope you will join us soon.  We value the energy and ideas that our new members bring.
